Dear Mr. President

April 5th, 2013 by Grace

Dear Mr. President,
please stop campaigning and actually do your job! You won, now do like most people when they get hired for a job, and you know, work. Or get fired.

Preferably, I'd like the second choice please.

Unfortunately, you've got the media wrapped so tightly around your finger, that they would never fire you. You're doing too good of a job campaigning, that way they actually have things to play on their news shows. Is that your way of creating jobs? Oh, my bad. I thought normally when people created jobs, or saved money, they didn't go on vacation, and normally they would cut back on the golfing, they would let the food taster go, and they would start walking their own dog. Is this the kind of change you meant? You never really stated where that change was taking us, all you said was "Forward, Hope, and Change" Well, guess what, we've gone forward off of a big cliff & Americans are hoping for change. The good kind of change. The one where politicians go from being celebrities, to normal everyday people. Wouldn't that be a nice change? Maybe we can hope to go forward with that. Or maybe that "Hope" was just telling We the People that "when I get elected, you'd better "hope" for a new president!" Was that the kind of "hope" we were being told about?

Or what about "forward"? Forward where? Straight forward to being drowned in debt to China? Oh, that's a nice sounding "forward".

And "change"? What about that? Where the American people's paychecks "change" for the worse or lose "change"? That's some nice change you got going there, Mr. President.

Once you get out from behind the teleprompter, out of la-la land, and back onto planet Earth, please start at least doing your job, even though I don't like the way you do your job, every so often, because that is what you get paid for. Not for jetting around the country in Air Force 1 while your First Lady is prancing around the country in another jet with your daughters. Not for going golfing with Cheata-I mean Tiger Woods. Not for dictating what the American people can and cannot do. And definitely not for giving us terrible reality TV show.

-Not a celebrity, just a normal everyday American,
Grace
